Hiya all. I am a recent convert (Palm 650) to the BB Curve 8300. I cannot figure out how to turn off my LCD/Backlight screen. Is there a control or do I have to wait for it to tme out? Currently it times out at 10 seconds, as I set it... but I want to be able to turn it off with a touch of a button.. Your advice is appreciated. TYIA

+1. I would like to know this as well. btw - Same here...convert from Treo 650 to the BB Curve, and this BB is leagues ahead of the Treo.

There is the time limit you can set, as you have figured out, the only other way to get it to go off quicker would be to lock the keyboard.

Just hold the mute key on top for 1 second
