I need help with something. I am running BES with 5 users through Verizon and if we make an appointment and invite people through our Curves, it hits the phones and MS Outlook one hour later. If you send the appointment and invitation through outlook it hits the phones at the correct time. So the issue< i believe resides in the phone software. Has anyone out there run into this issue? Does anyone know how to correct?
Oh, I am running operating system 4.5 they are on 4.3. this doesn't seem to matter, but someone might want to know. thank you.
First thing I'd check are the time zones on Outlook and your BB. So you are saying if you set an appointment for Noon from your BB, your Outlook says its at 1 or they other attendees?

I had the same problem for the past 2 weeks or so, ever since DST. Anyways, the last poster was on the right track. You need to update your Outlook so that it knows what timezone it's in and that it's adjusted for DST. Just because windows knows doesn't mean Outlook does.
Go to Outlook -> Tools -> Options -> Calendar Options ->Time Zone
Make sure you check the 'Adjust for Daylight Savings' box. Should fix your problem.

Yes, that is what i am saying. My outlook time zone is correct and my time zone is correct on my bb. But I changed and changed back and saved. I just tested it again and it is still an hour off.
This all goes back to the DST Update for Exchange 2003 and how it affected the Blackberry Enterprise Server. I am going through a ton of webpages through Microsoft and Blackberry to resolve. Hopefully, it works...
My wife's did that too. Yesterday I just changed the timezone on her BB to the correct time. She said her computer had the correct time. Also that the same thing happened at the last DST change but eventually fixed itself.
I have read through all of the suggestions...and have tried them all. My appointment is still off by 1 hour. I enter the time on the BB for 9:00 and it shows up as 10:00 on Outlook. Does anyone have any additional sugggestions?
I had the same problem..exactly! If you confirmed that all the things that were suggested in prior posts have been done and are right, the last thing I tried (which worked) was the following:
1 - Stop the BB Controller and BB Dispatcher services on the BES
2 - On your Exchange server, copy the CDO.dll file from your \exchsrvr\bin folder to the Exchsvr\bin folder on your BES
3 - Click start/run and enter regsvr32 <path>cdo.dll (do this on the BES)
4 - Should get a "succeeded msg"
5 - start up the BB services (controller and dispatcher)
That resolved it for me. Hope it works for you!

Reason: correction
ditto to what jax said i had exact same issue, you can also look at your cdo.dll file on your bes server and most likely it will have a dif modified date than the one on your exchange server, once they match you will be all set.
