So I awoke this morning to see my typical alerts (SMS, Email) at the top of my Curve's screen. Then, I noticed an alert I've never seen before. It has the red asterisk like the other alerts, but it is above a barely visible black icon that is not related to any app I've installed. I've spent 30 minutes going through everything trying to find out what the alert is related to.

I need help!!


I have Sprint and a 8330 Curve with the newest OS.

Hm. Do you know how to post screen shots?

Also, can you describe the shape of the icon a little better, would help us better figure out what it was for.

It's just a black square with an indistinguishable logo.

Hm. That one sounds odd to me. Have you checked AppWorld to make sure you don't have any application updates available in there?

it could be the blackberry messenger one, but its black...not blue. And I dont use BBM!
