Just got my CURVE 8330 & I LOVE IT!@! I have had my Razor for 3 years & it was time to retire the POS!!!!! This BB BLOWS it away!!

I understand I cannot sync with Microsoft Outlook 2000????? Is it worth uprading to 2003 or should I just go with 2007?? Any suggestions on great deals for 2007 Outlook. I saw microsoft ran THE ULTIMATE DEAL for MIcrosoft Office 2007 to college students @ $59.00. Is that still available?? It would probably be worth it to uprade Excell & Word also.

When i add a number from my call log to my address book (CALL LOG,FULL MENU,ADD TO ADDRESS BOOK), it automatically stores the number to the WORK location. Can I change the default location so it will save to MOBILE instead of work??????

No it is a default for the device, you can always copy, cut and pastre it under something else. Unless someone else has a fix.

The BlackBerry os a 'work' phone so it thinks that all new numbers are work numbers. Makes Jack a dull boy.... but that's just the way it is. Sorry.

As to syncing with Outlook 2000, I seem to remember that if you use Desktop Manager 4.2 then it would sync. I have my computers on Office 2003 and 2007 with Desktop Manager 4.6 so I cannot check.

HAve a look here https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22 for the various versions of Desktop Manager. Get the versions without media manager since this add-in causes more problems than it solves. Ther are othe, better ways of doing what media manager dows.

Thanks for the replies! I removed 4.3 from my computer & downloaded 4.2 sp2, but I cannot sync to my BB. How do I remove 4.3 from BB , or is it supposed to override it???? It says my USB port is available.
