Hi all, new UK owner here...a few noob questions here, sorry if there are any stupid questions but I've never owned a blackberry before and I really don't have a clue.

...So I have just bought a used BB8900 and I'm not really sure what I'm doing, I have tried setting it my email up but I only have one option and that is 'I want to use a work email account with a blackberry Enterprise Server' when according to the manual I should have several options. Am I missing something?

Also I'm on O2 network using a pay and go simplicity tariff of 15 per month that gives me call/text/browsing. Do I also need a data add on?

    Any help appreciated, thanks.

    Shaun.

In order to add push email, BlackBerry Messenger, native IM clients (Windows Live Messenger, AIM, Yahoo Messenger), you will need a BlackBerry data plan (BIS). I am in the US, but I'm sure some folks in the UK will advise you on the costs of the data plans.

I second that. Get yourself a data plan, it's probably about 5 per month.
