Is it just me or has anyone noticed how quick this thing is? I have a 9780 also and the curve is just as fast if not faster.. I have not experienced any lag whatsoever. I dont even get the annoying clock unless I download an app.

    This device is fantastic

It has the same CPU as the 9780, hence the speed.

We CDMA folks got stuck with a slightly slower CPU and although with the latest OS6 release plus a .407 Java swap it runs fine, I still was impressed at how snappy OS6 on a buddy's Bold 9700 was after I had installed it for him.

I don't know about 9780, but I had an 8900 before this and it is way faster. I've only gotten the annoying clock about a few times since I got the phone, while 8900 I had it almost every time I sent a message.

Since you have both the 9780 and the 9300, can you tell me a little about the differences between the two? Had the 1st Curve Verizon offered. Switched to a droid this summer and want to switch back to a BB. Trying to wait for AT&T to get the 9780 but, am strongly considering the 9300. So just wondering what you see as the big differences between your 2 BBs (9300 and 9780).
