So a little backstory.....In January of this year the wife and I finally said goodbye to our 8310's and switched over to the iPhone 3G. Well as the months have gone by we have both been missing our blackberrys very badly. So now we've both decided to ditch the iPhone and come back, we gave it an honest effort, but it just wasn't for us in the end. So where we're at now is trying to find the best deal we can on a pair of Curve 8900s. Since we both used our upgrades back in January we will be paying retail on these. So far the best price I can find is on Wirefly for $379.00 each. Does anyone have any info on where I might find a better deal? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't natter to me who your carrier is, but if you switched to someone else, I'm sure you would get a great price on your phones.

Well unfortunately AT&T is the only carrier that has good coverage where I live, otherwise we would've jumped ship to Verizon for the Tour.

I haven't seen lower than $379 except in the classifieds.

Yeah I figured this was gonna be the lowest price I could get, unless I can somehow convince AT&T to give me an early upgrade. Just wanted to ask around and make sure though.

I just got my 8900 from radio shack for $60. yea $60!!!, but you need the data plan for about 6 months

It was free for new customers, and $60 for existing.

Now it is $100 for new customers, and $150 for existing.

    Here's the link:

    radioshackwireless.com/specialoffer.aspx?cid=25578_b36bb18b77ff45bc8ea514 823fa1853d

instead of ordering online, just call them and they will hive you the same price. Don't order online because the order form makes you order extra stuff like AT&T navigator for $80, some phone tracking thing for another $20 a month and basically all the unnecessary stuff you don't need, which are there just to try and rip you off.

So this morning I was looking at 8900 on Phonescoop. They had it advertised through Amazon, ATT, for 1 cent; with a 2 year contract I believe.

Yup just looked again, and now I am baffled. Can someone please explain to me why the phone is listed as $449.00 on the regular AT&T site, and $483.99 on the premier site? I thought the premier site was supposed to cheaper.
