aaaaa im lost. i just went over 46 pages and still this damn thing doesnt work. i downloaded about 3 different OS. i cant get this **** working with DM nor with CrackMem. HELPPPPPP oh yeah btw cant find vendor to del from pc either.
New to this forum and new to blackberry. Just got my 8900 from Orange 2 days ago (love it!!). I downloaded the .exe for .206 off the Blackberry Orange website. I used the loader app in the common files folder to update.
The first screen I got had tick marks all along the left side for all the applications I had on my 8900. On the right, all the statuses were something like 'no change'. I then went to the next screen (assuming that these were the defaults) and there was one large text box that said some thing like 'no change'.
I then continued with the install and it took less than a second. Is this right??? I went to the about under options and the the new app version is .206 (it was .19...something...what ever it shipped with from Orange).
I just wanted to make sure that I updated it correctly. Is there any way to tell? The scrolling around the application list does seem quicker as does GPS reception. It's still got a weak lock on the wifi signal though it seems...
when updating it takes way longer then a second lol, iv done it many times, but if when you go into options on your blackberry and about and you see it says the 4.6.1.250 then you have the newest, but if not, then try again, (thats if your not going to use your carriers, download, i am on a different network so thats why it may be higher then yours)

I just got a BB 8900 and i'm on the v4.6.1.109 OS.
Just wanted to know what the best OS for my phone is? Please do help as i really want to increase my battery life considerably! any other options besides the usual? Should i buy a different type of battery?
