For install instruction to load any carrier 8900 OS on your BB:

1. Download desired OS to your PC
2. Install/run OS to PC
3. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader (If your not on Orange UK)
4. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
5. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.

i started up the app loader before the liks for download were posted

now the app loader is updating

meanwhile this thread was initiated,

started the download here as well

stuck now as the app loader is updating simultaneously with the download,

Q1: is it all right if i unplug my phone while the app loader is updating?

Q2: what the **** is is the app loader updating? is it downloading the latest os as well?

sorry if the questions sound dumb
