    ......for those that aren't eligible for a full upgrade, I recommend calling in your order and asking for them to help you out on the price. Tell them you want the 8900 but the price is to high, when they tell you your price.....they do have the power to over ride the price.....go through to the customer loyalty department

    Did you have to pay upfront? I wanted to add it to my bill and CSR said when you phone in the order, you have to pay upfront.

    i dunno about that, i've had my phone for nearly a month and they still haven't charged my t-mo account for it

    I did not have to pay upfront for the 8900. I think it was because I paid upfront on a previous attempt to get the 8900 and they sent me a "Sunset" Curve which I promptly returned!
    BTW UPS finally updated the tracking information and my 8900 should be on the truck for delivery tomorrow!
