Can anyone explain why the battery in my new 8900 runs down quickly when kept in the supplied pouch as opposed to when it is not? I thought pouches were supposed to prolong battery life?
I keep my 8900 in its pouch and due to the sleep mode caused by the magnet, battery life is increased.
One thing though. Are you putting the keyboard end of the phone into the pouch? That's the way is must go in to insure that the magnetic holster mode is activated.
If, by chance, you are inserting the phone screen first then there is a fair chance that buttons may be pressed and that could cause the batery to be used up.
