It uses Micro-USB as impalass96 stated because that is the new standard size.
Thanks. Just bought one while I not-so-patiently wait for the power station cradle to be available.
That SD card will work on any BB, right? http://getlostinfun.com/smileys/img/...lrvx/smile.gif
Yes, it is universal. I don't know about the others here who ordered this but my Micro SD card came with a full size adapter which I thought was a neat little bonus. :p
This is awesome! I was about to start looking into getting a charging dock.
Thanks...
This is very informative...thanks so much for the post. I've been debating on whether or not to get the cradle...this makes the deal sweeter. Now if I can only decide on a protective case I'd be all set!
I got the charging dock for my 8900 via a google search and ended up finding it for a little under $15 incl s&h.
For anyone who needs a dock but already has the SD card (like me) google (shopping.google.com) looks like the best deal.
Newegg.com is cheaper than that and they have great customer service and return policy.
8gb class2 is a waste of money.
Not mine! Just enough for my needs.. :)
Yes, and depending on what OS your device has is what the max size it will read, minimal Class 2...

I just ordered one! Along with a silicon casing, and I almost got a 6gb mem card, but i dont know if I really need it.. any suggestions?
I ordered this set, as previously stated, along with the OEM Blackberry silicon case. I am very happy with it. It has a soft rubber texture and add virtually no bulk or weight to the phone. However, I am in the process of deciding on keeping the silicon sleeve and just getting a screen protector or investing further into a BSE or ZAGG full body shield.
As far as the cradle goes, I say do it. It's so nice to have and it helps save your USB port from abuse. And it looks damn good doing it! :p
very nice, need to order 1
Nowadays the charging pod is only $10, at least for the 8900 (Amazon.com: BlackBerry BlackBerry 8900 Desktop Charging Pod: Cell Phones & Service)
