What are you going to use it for and do you want/need a camera, also if you have used them in person which keyboard do you prefer? Do you prefer a small, compact device or a larger one? These are some things we need to know to be able to help you.

I perfer a larger keyboard and I use the e-mail and messenger, alot customer contact. I have a curve, I have thumb trouble with the 7 key and s key, give me problems, other than that I love the device just last chance to decide for next 2 yrs never used 8830.

if you have a curve, and your unsatisfied with the keys, the 8830 might be a option for you, its bigger, but the keys are closer together

what she said and that you can always switch back if your not happy (thats assuming that your keeping your old 8330).

Well I have 1 week to decide this is a new purchase for me and my first BB, I am not a world travelerrr most of my customers are on the Eatern Seaboard, the e-mail and SMS are my major concerns if i'm to understand any BB has that pretty much covered, I have been told it takes practice with the curve keys, is a 8830 a better alternative.

i would suggest going into a sprint store so you can get a feel of the 8830 to see if its right for you before you switch

I agree. Going into the store is the best way to get a feel of the device.

I would go for the 8330 since the keyboard is easier to use....The camera, however,...hmmm...let me put it in a decent way..

    SUCKS!!!!!
