Hmmm, I don't even know if Sprint has multi-FRU program, I know Verizon does. If Sprint does have that program, the multi-FRU choices would be 8350i (Nextel), probably the 9650, or 9630. If 8330 is still available, it would be the multi-FRU for the 8530.

Thank you!! but i have Verizon. I would also like add that i had a tour (bought from Verizon) and then bought a storm 2 off ebay. The storm 2 was acting up so verizion changed it for a curve 2. So I hope that they don't give me a curve 8330 because I payed for a tour.

OH SORRY! I assumed you had Sprint! I really need some sleep LOL!

Well, yeah, 8330, 9650, 9630, are probably the phones they'll give you.

Multi-FRU is Multi-Field Replacement Unit. It's a program that allows costumers of certain phone carriers to replace their phone with a similar device at no cost when they have replaced a phone 3 times under warranty.

Since Verizon already placed you from one device into the 8530, it is unlikely they will replace it with another one without an associated fee. From my experience they have only ever replaced it with a brand new device (and yes I have been through MANY devices)

Doubtful. Only way I believe you would get the 9650 is if they run out of 8530's. And I don't forsee that happening anytime soon! But you never know!

Somewhat true, but that's what multi-FRU is, if one particular device just isn't working for you, they will replace with a similar device, if you have to pay a little to get a better device, you can do that.
