I have the 8320 and am i right in thinking that it is impossible to send an image via text with this phone as i am not using a data package, just bog standard texts.

If you don't have an option for MMS then no, you can't send pictures.
Not all the BB's are restricted like this?
Its not restricted by your phone. It depends what type of texting plan you are
paying for through your carrier, so you would need to check with them about
adding MMS to your monthly plan.
It worked on my old phone! I had it on it. Still same package, just different phone!
You need to call your carrier in that case to ask why you don't have it. They may
have to enable the feature on your Blackberry.
BlackBerry devices require a DATA PLAN in order to send MMS. They are different from other phones.
