3GP file wont play longer than 5 seconds

Hi,

I have converted a .avi file into a 3GP file so that i can watch it on my blackberry but when it plays it only does so for 5 seconds an dthen stops.

I can play the file off of the memory card when my blackberry it attached to my pc so the file is fine, is there a setting i am missing or something when converting the file?

Other files i have play fine.

This problem is due to the improper file format, like frames per second. Check rim's website as they have KB articles on supported file types for converting media.
