    Hi!

    I am trying to update the software for my Curve 9360 to v.7.1 through the Blackberry Device Software and I am stuck on the back Up Data stage at the SMS Meggage step for over an hour. Its basically been baking up my SMS for over an hour (And I really don't have very many messages) Is it normal for this to take so long or should I risk unplugging my device?

    Do not unplug it. It takes a long time to do this stuff, especially on the Curve because resetting it takes so freakin long. Just be patient, that's all I can say

    over an hour is bad, normally it takes less than 20 minutes for me to do it.
