    Hi,

I want to get a 9360 but I need a phone that will allow a single text to be sent to a contact list of 20, 30 or may be even 50 people. How many can the blackberry cope with.

My current phone only allows me to send texts to 10 people, at most, from a contact list.

    Thanks

Using OS 6 on my 9650, I just created a Contact Group with 53 members. It's safe to say any OS 6 device will have the same Contact Group capability. Note: I didn't test the send capability, since I have no reason to send a text message to 53 unrelated people, but since I could create the Group, I don't think there would be a problem sending to it.

    Thanks for the reply,

it would be a group of 20+ that I would be texting, sorry for my wrong terminology earlier.

I am a scout leader and keep in touch with parents via txt.

    Thanks

    Andrew

No problem with your terminology; I knew what you were asking for. You have to create groups by adding one member at a time, which is a bit tedious, and there is a limit on the group size; but it's bigger than 50 members, so your use should be fine.
