    saw many comments about updating the os 7 but where to update??? desktop manager always said there is no update available.. please help me.. somebody... T.T

    current battery only last 12 hrs max with brightness 10% only and location - off

    keep overheating even only for bbm or 2 mins call...

    Download the exe file from the link in this thread.

    Run the exe file, delete the vendor.xml files and then connect your phone to DM and it will read the update.

    Search from within the forums for OS install instructions.

    i also having problem updating. i using windows 7. and follow the instruction, i deleted the vendor.xml and also use the loader.exe. but still no updates available.

    try downloading the latest desktop manager ..worked for me.

    You need to delete BOTH the vendor.xml files.

    i using the desktop manager too. window 7 dont have the other folder mentioned in the link. document and setting. so i not sure where is the another vendor.xml is.

    I successfully update the OS.. here is my review so far..

    The overheating is gone..

    The battery can last for 3 hours more (from 12 hours to 15 hours) but still not confirmed yet because i use less BBM today...

    i feel not a big difference with the .319. maybe is because i just started using the handset the day before. maybe need a few day to calibrate the battery.
