I just want to say that this software is the best so far, my battery did not last three hours with heavy use, but now lasts all day! it's amazing the great change which gave this software to the battery life ... I also want to add that the browser has a lot more stability, and I have not seen even one annoying clock since installation

P.D: to make the battery last even more, it is best to put EDGE/2g connection when is no needed 3G connection

you will not loose the apps if you backup your phone before upgrade.

Installed the update and yeah I did back up before the update. Btw, my 9360 lasts only 8hrs on normal usage after the update.

n00b question, assume the guide below is still the correct way to load via desktop manager?

How to Install or Upgrade to a New RIM BlackBerry Operating System (OS) | CrackBerry.com

new 9360 user trying to improve battery life, no official update available from Carrier.

Is this the OS I should load or is there a better one available?

    thanks.

.907 is good. Try that first. If you encounter problems with .907 downgrade to .812

    Didn't work, still on 714.

    Will try again later.

Used Elite's guide, how do I delete all previous versions on OS from PC so I can try again? (using vista if that makes a difference

Edit - when I ran the apploader, DM prompted me to put my pin in, which I did, is that correct or should I leave the apploader to finish first?

There was another pop up on DM with the options Retry and Upgrade, i didn't know which of those to select either.

Edit 2 - 907 done, hadn't deleted the second vendor file in hidden folder, thanks.
