I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII and grew tired of several things about it. I decided to order a 9360. Got one through Amazon for $260. I read several posts about bad battery life.

The first thing I did was upgrade my OS. I clicked the top sticky in this forum (BTW, the latest version for that company is now 7.1.x, needs to be updated on the sticky).

My battery is not broken in yet. First charge, I took it off at 9:30 am this morning. Right now it's 8:00 pm and I have 61% left. That's with 2 email accounts, Scoremobile running pushing St. Louis scores (Cubs suck! ha ha) and BerryWeather polling every 30 minutes.

I love my new 9360! BTW, I am on at&t in Arkansas.

Same here. I've had a few other OS 7 devices, 9900 and 9810. Also devices from other platforms like iPhone 4, Lumia 800, and Galaxy Note. But in the end I stuck with the 9360 instead.

Me too, enjoying very much my 9360. Like the size, form, design and function. Carry it in my pocket all the time.

With heavy usage mine is in the red at night (and has even shut down on me once or twice). I never had this with my old Storm.

But you get used to it. I'm perfectly happy with my 9360 (at least until BB10 comes out)

Today is my first real workday running around town and getting several emails. At 10 am I had a 100% charge and unplugged. It is now 7:44 pm and I have exactly 67% charge left. That is an average of 3.3% per hour. I can definitely live with that. , its downright outstanding compared to a ios or android device.

i am also baffled by the reality of the life of 9360 that it is quite good, i almost use it for every day 3 hours talk and 200 to 500 text and some videos also, still when i get back home i have 25% of battery remaining.

I have whatsapp, facebook, and twitter, but not a heavy user of those. No foursquare. I use tapatalk heavily, and 1 hour of endomondo with gps tracking my run, and music playing at the same time. Of course not to mention BBM, sms, calls, and emails. My battery life is still very decent. Most of the time i end my day with more than 30% of battery life. This is on 3G network, on 2G, it lasts even longer.

I still think the major difference in battery life is due to network. i live in a small country, with an area of just 274 square miles. So my network is pretty solid. Perhaps that might explain the battery life.

I know how you feel. hahaha. I came from a 9900, sold it, and then i played around with many different BBs, different platforms. Finally settling down on my trusty 9360. Then i played with my friend's 9900... I forgot how good the keyboard feels, and how good the phone looks. I'm now back on a 9900.

On a side note, I found battery life on my 9360 slightly better than on the 9900.

I bought the 9360 outright as a budget device and i've completely fell in love with the thing. It's a beautiful looking device and is one of those phones people are intrigued by when you have it out. I only got it to tide me over until i could pick the 9900 up which i never bothered with in the end and i'll keep this as my main phone until death do us part! It will go down as a classic this phone.

I agree with AH, i found out that alot of blackberries i have previously purchased had rubbish battery lifes and i was constantly having to charge them or buy a portable charger with me everywhere i go, but now i have the 9360 i dont have that problem anymore, everyone thinks that the battery is so small it couldn't handle all what a blackberry does but i think it is better than any other battery i have tried.

A few people have mentioned that they love this device, but is it your first BlackBerry? I bought a 9350 mainly because it was the only qwerty OS7 that my carrier had. I have a 9850 & 9650 and I love the keyboard on the 9650. But it's slow compared to OS7 devices.

The 9350 feels cheaper in my opinion, but ill activate it today and give it a weeks trial run.

So let me know if you do love your 9350, is this your first BB?

my two cents - I was a BB user for 5 years, then android for about 2 years and happily back to BB this year. During my previous BB years I used many from the good ol' tank 7230 up through the Pearl and the original Curve. This little 9350 is very small and compact and just comfortable enough like all of my original BB's. I cannot compare it to the many other BB's such as the Bold and Storm and Torch, etc.

I ditched the major service providers this year (because I think they charge entirely too much and 2-year contracts are just over the top) so the BB offerings on the no-contract carriers are limited. I am very happy Cricket now offers this model - as stated before, I just love it.

Use 'Smartwifi' or something similar. This turns off your wifi unless you are on certain cell towers where you have enabled wifi in the past. Makes a huge difference.

Love the 9360 --all the functionality but doesn't feel like a giant frisbee in your pocket

I'm new to 9360 & I love it! I was using Torch for a month & could not get used to the sliding action. This bb will keep me happy till bb10 comes out.

My 9360 has phenomenal battery life, and it is bridged all day to my playbook. I do find if you shut it down and restart it, it seems to improve battery. I discovered that when I deleted some apps and it had to restart to finish. After that, it goes 2 -3 days. Now I am not a heavy cell phone user. Mostly text my kids with the odd phone call, so that might be why mine lasts so much longer than anyone else. But my sister has a Samsung GIO, and she is not a big cell phone user either, but she has to recharge faithfully every night or it dies on her.
