My trackpad seems all "sticky" it doesn't scroll nearly as well as when I bout it 6 months ago.

Any pointers on cleaning.

The trackpad surface is smooth. If the problem is greasy/sticky finger deposits a good wipe with a dry cloth or tissue paper should clear it. Avoid water based cleaners which could get into the phone, or strong solvents which can attack the plastic components.

I also cleaned with a dry towel , but pay attention to prevent the intrusion of water damage
