@BB.David: The new Curve will probably cost a little more after release, because of the timing.
Availability
The BlackBerry Curve 9350, 9360 and 9370 smartphones are expected to be available from carriers in Canada this month and from other carriers around the world beginning in September. Availability dates and pricing for specific devices from specific carriers will be announced in conjunction with RIM’s partners.
Some portions from a review just done by cnet.co.uk:
That trackpad is pretty decent -- it felt responsive and smooth in our brief hands-on. But for more ambitious manoeuvres like cruising around a webpage on the phone's browser, you might find its abilities are limited.
Around the back there's a 5-megapixel camera with flash, and on the inside there's an 800MHz processor, which isn't as nippy as the 1GHz chip you'll find inside other recent BlackBerry phones. Surfing through menus wasn't noticeably slower in our hands-on, but it might be that some games and apps don't run as smoothly on the 9360.
But there's not much here to tempt Android fans to switch, as Google's operating system offers a better app selection and touchscreens too. Stay tuned for the full review -- we're expecting the Curve 9360 to come out in September.
Sprint is killing it this year with all the new blackberry phones. I am honestly surprised to see sprint announce every new blackberry before other us carriers.
