Hello, I currently have a Curve 9300 and I'm thinking about getting a new phone. I have a choice of a storm2 or a curve 9360. So my question is for anyone who has a storm2. What is it like? Is it fast? What is the screen like? What are the buttons like? What's the battery life like? Would you recommend it over the storm2? Is there any other things I should know?

It certainly didn't deserve the amount of abusive posting as it received, but it's over 2 years old, has a much slower processor, and a "ClickType" most folks hate. It's 2 OS's behind, and I'm willing to bet you'll kick yourself before I even get the chance.

Oh, ok then looks like I will choose the curve unless I buy a second hand torch but I think the torch looks a bit girly - anybody agree with me?

The Torch is not girly. It's the thickest BlackBerry currently available.
The Storm 2 is a dead platform. The 9360 is far more capable.
Also, Google is your friend. A quick search and comparison of specs would tell you this in a heartbeat. The Storm shouldn't even be considered as a new device, only as a hobby or novelty. It is still quite a capable device, as all BlackBerries are. I saw one in the wild this weekend. But if you have an opportunity to get a current device, do so.

I have googled them and they both are around about the same in quality that's why I'm asking for personal opinions. So you don't think the torch is girly? I only thought that because the only people I know with them or I have seen with them are girls but I do really like them as I do with the curve. If I do get enough money I might think about the bold 9900 but I don't really like the bold to be totally honest.

I have a few good friends who would definitely disagree the Torch is "girly", but unless it's the 9810, I'd stick with the Curve.
I have decided to try and get a cheap torch 9810 - does anybody know where to get a cheap one under 250 or 300? It can be new or used but must be working and in the colour silver/black.

Thank you for that! Ebay looks like my best bet so that's where I will go and thank you for considering my currency - I do appreciate it when people do that!

Edit - Actually I'm surprised. I found more 9860's for his price than 9810's. May the confusion continue.....
Haha, wouldn't have the money to move though I don't like the 9860's they remind me of a samsung tocco lite - a phone that I used to have and I wanted a change so that's why I like the older shaped ones
