Bring on the themes !!

can I only use themes that are specfic to the 8900?

This is a lonely forum. Will check back later and hopefully there will be some options. Not much in the way of theme choice out of the box.

I wish Plazmic came out with version 4.7, but they just release 4.6 without a Storm or 8900 screen resolutions available to build a theme for either of these.

I keep checking back in this particular forum, but not much going on with BB 8900 themes. I found some more info on this in another forum that perhaps explains why.

The 8900 seems to be fairly neglected in 3rd party support. Was the Bold support this bad ~1 month after release?

As has been seaid numerous time, we are stuck with no themes until Plazmc release 4.7. Then theme developers can port all their themes over to the 8900.

I absolutely hate the current themes. There are acres of wasted space on the Home screen and the icons on the Application Desktop screen are far too big. We have this fantastic screen and the have only 3 rows by 6 icons. My 8310 has 4 rows by 6 (7 on the Home screen) and my old 8100 has 5 by 5. So I have ths new phone that displays less than the old one.

I also miss the calender display on my Home custom display

and I want it back.

So if anybody has any information about Plazmic 4.7 release schedule I would greatly appreciate them posting said info right here, please.

I have also noticed that when I change wallpaper it only changes the picture on the Home screen and not on the Application Desktop screen. It says Set As Home Screen Image and that is just what it does. This looks like a theme may have to have a fixed image on the App Desktop screen unless Plazmic 4.7 allows a change here.

Is there anybody here knows that plazmic design (composer) for bold 9000 device added size 480x360 from 480x320 will work on curve 8900? coz i see on the file>new window (new document window) u can add the size to the work area.

i really need a new themes but i dont want to brick my device.
