I do not think anyone here has hard information on this. Suffice to say that you are not the only one waiting. Theme developers cannot legally sell their themes developed under the beta version of 4.7 so I expect that they want the final version very much indeed.

Has anyone noticed that the iVista theme is being sold and advertised on here for $6 and there "is no free trial version available".

There are a lot of developers selling 8900 themes that I presume were made with the beta Plazmic.

Yes those themes are beta and those developers should not be selling beta themes

not sure how plazmic works. why is it in beta for the 8900? Is it because of the new 4.6 OS for the 8900 vs 4.5 for others? If so, why isn't BOLD (which is also OS 4.6) themes beta also.

Plazmic 4.6 has been officially released and that is for the Bold with OS 4.6.0.x

Plazmic 4.7 has been leaked as a Beta version, it is not an official version and it contains bugs. Because of this, it also creates buggy, beta themes. This version creates themes for the Storm (OS 4.7.0.x) and the 8900 (OS 4.6.1.x).
