Option > Advanced Options > Applications... find the theme name... Menu > Delete.
Your BBM might be in the Instant Messenger folder... when ever you start using a new theme it puts everything back to it's root settings and places for the new theme.
Goto options>advanced options>applications and scroll to the theme you just downloaded>hit the menu button>select delete.
do you have the os that's on your phone still on the pc? If not download it and then plug up the phone to the pc and open desktop manager and then open the app loader and you should see a menu of stuff to install back on your phone. Check bbm and make sure it says install and then hit next and just follow the prompts
My husband's 8900 likes to do this as well. I have found that switching back to a stock theme, then doing a battery pull, then changing to the new theme usually makes his BBM icon show up. Sometimes I have to reboot it a few times but that was before I figured out going back to a stock theme before battery pull.
Are you doing a proper battery pull... leave your device on, pull the battery, leave it out 20 seconds, put the battery back in, wait for your device to boot up.
If you want you can reload your current OS... it should get your BBM back... run DM Backup... this will backup your personal data, including your BBM contacts.
Of the handful of batterypulls I've done on my bold ,have I ever never pulled the battery without turning the rig off properly
Shutting down first ,and can't see that being good for rig

If you shutdown your device before doing a battery pull then you are not getting the benefits of the battery pull. The device will be just fine.
