Is there a theme or way I can change my 8900 so that all me email has a black background with a white font?
I do not think there is a way. You can change the line strips and a little of this and a little of that, but i do bot see where to change the background.

Making a theme the way you want it (white font black background) wouldn't be hard at all.
You shoudl try doing it yourself, youll learn some stuff and might actually like making themes.
If not, im sure theres someone who might have an extra hour and wont mind helping you out.
Yes Making themes is rather easy but as far as i know you can not change the Message background. But if you are looking for other changes like that you can easily make your own to YOUR specs.

I use it myself. It's pretty cool.
You can also go into Options - Advanced - Accessibility and change it to reverse contrast.
