Hello! I'm new here, usually browse the site but this is the first time I've had to register for a problem of my own. This is my first post and thread.

    I have a Blackberry Curve 8900.

I left it charging through the night. I woke up to get my messages and the device was off. I pressed the END button for it to turn back on and nothing happened. I disconnected the device, removed the battery and placed it back on. The Red-Led came up and instead of restarting (like usual) the Red-Led went out and the device was still off. The screen hasn't even blinked once.

I have no idea what is wrong but I'm guessing it's software related? If so, should I wipe out the device and re-install a new OS? Is there any other fix? Anyways, thanks in advance.

    Pete-

How did you charge it? Make sure that the battery actually charged. It could be (hopefully) as simple as the battery didn't charge.

I charged it using the PC USB cable.

Try charging with the wall or car charger. The usb won't charge if your pc went to sleep mode.
