Hey Can anyone tell me what comes in the box with your T-Mo 8900? Im mostly concerned about the memory card. Will they include it and if so how much storage has it got? Thanks, I just want to be prepared for when it arrives on tuesday.

They included a 256 MB card.

In the box, you get the phone (duh ), data cable, charging cable, and OEM pouch for the phone with sleeper function. You also get the usual documentation and a CD for the Desktop Manager.

Are you guys talking about a 256 MB card physically in the SD card slot or are you referencing the 256 internal memory that part of the phone?

I throw mine in the trash... bought a 16G... wish I could have found a 32G card.

I put 256MB card aside for later use in...well...something I guess. Don't really know what would use that small of a card. Even my wife has a 2GB MicroSD in her Behold, and she doesn't use it.

I was gonna buy a 16GB, but thought that I really don't need it, and since Frys had a deal on 8GB for $15 I bought one of those instead. It's class 4 too, so it's nice and speedy.

Not in my phone, mine came from Rogers.

I think that's kinda silly for T-mobile to actually include a card that small in the phone. That reminds me of how they like to include really tiny memory cards in a digital camera just to say they included one.

Yea, I guess that's the mentality and T-mobile kinda did this to earn "Brownie Points" from its customers. As cheap as memory cards are these days, they surely could have spent a bit more, or even the same probably with their purchasing power, and added a higher capacity memory card. I mean if I, as a consumer, can purchase a 2 GB SD card for less that $5 or a 4 GB SD card for less than $10 it just seems silly to me for them to have even wasted their time with 256 MB size cards.

ok, this may be a noob question, but the usb port to charge the 8900 is not the same size as the one on a 8100 pearl?
Just wonder if I have to order a new car charger today?

The 8900 is different as it is Micro-USB (smaller) and the 81xx (larger) has the Mini-USB. The phone should come with a new wall charger. You can also purchase adapters to use your Mini-USB chargers. Check out this thread. You can also find them in the Crackberry store.

That's why I included 3 data cables, a car charger and 2 wall chargers when I sold my 8320. Made it look like, "Ohhh! ALL THESE ACCESSORIES!" when in actuality it was more like, "Dangit, now I have all these extra cables with nothing to plug into...oh well"

I called Friday afternoon, spoke with CSR JENNA, since my Upgrade isn't due until October, I had to pay the 430.
