VibAndRing :: $4.99 ....... BuzzMe :: $0.00 ....... VibeAndRing has 3 totally customizable options ....... BuzzMe has one option ....... Took me about 10 mins to get VibAndRing set to exactly how I wanted it...... BuzzMe was already set up the same way ....... Turned on VibAndRing it Vibed..it Rang ONE time then just Vibed till the VMail answered.......Turned on BuzzMe... It worked FLAWLESSLY...... I uninstalled VibAndRing and shrugged off my $5.00 loss..... Save your 5 bucks for a Hieneken and download BuzzMe for free...

The ones designed specifically for the storm probably not,. but there are apps that work on both devices

I have it installed works pretty good for me just make sure you set tone and vibrate for when u want it to vibrate,. it wont work if your profile is set to tone only.

Too bad for the dev who made vib and ring. I hope he got his money back. RIM makes it damn near impossible to create cost-free apps. Most apps have to be signed and you gotta pay for it.

Since buzzme and vibandring are apps that constantly run in the background, wouldn't they eat up a good chunk of one's battery life?

I can't say that BBlight has worked well either.. Still have to say BuzzMe is the best of the three.... And I havnt noticed any abnormal battery drain since running it.

I don't notice any unusual battery drain with VibAndRing. I have used it on my 8310 and now on my 8900.

VibAndRing is the best, but for my needs BuzzMe works great and I am using it. BBLight didn't work for me.... I want it to vibrate and ring at the same time from the second the call come thru, BBLight didn't do that for me.

someone wanna post an OTA link for BuzzMe that works on the 8900?
I tried one a few weeks ago and it kinda messed with my phone. Maybe it wasn't the right version or something...

    Hey thanks a lot!

I'm pretty sure that was the one I tried. Weird. I'll try again. I didn't really to fix it or anything, just assumed it wasn't the right version or wasn't designed for the 8900 yet...
