I love the phone, and I've owned and still own plenty of GSM phones. But I must say the 8900 is the most difficult device I've had when it come to SIM swapping. Anyone else agree?

I agree, I just use a nail clipper and make sure I don't press too hard... it comes out very easily with that.

I agree. Swapping the microSD card isn't easy either.

The microSD gets much easier after you have done it a few times...

Its easy when you know how to do it. Take the battery out and then grab the SIM card, thumb on the bottom and index finger on the top, then pull out. There is a notch at the bottom for your thumb to fit into. Some have even suggested using the eraser on a pencil to help.

The SD card is also easy once you know how to do it. There is a thread around here discussing this extensively.

Is the SIM card slot similar to the Bold's?

I notice my SIM card is hard to take out. But that's on purpose. I noticed that whenever I would drop my Curve my phone would go SOS because the SIM card moved.

An eraser tip is exactly what I used.

Try taking off the Innocase, taking out the sd card and the sim card all at once. It's enough to make you want to punch your wife in the face.

I recommend you do not use tweezers.
