Do you also get charged for 911 every month because I do. You are right, a lot of little fees have been added.

Their new website stinks also - can't get a detailed bill with call detail for all numbers in one place anymore. Need to download each line separately and it comes as an Excel file, not as PDF. If you want one detailed bill, you have to subscribe to paper billing and pay $1.99.

T-mobile is not as cheap as they use to be, but they are definitely still cheap. I save a good deal of money compared to what I was paying for the same features when I had At&t. UMA also makes it worth it IMO. I don't use it for the free minute, but to get better service.

After tax AND FEES it comes out to $95 for me. Granted if I tried this in other cell providers it is considerable more or not available.

Their family plans are where you save the money the most. Every carrier will seem really expensive if your on an individual plan.

My parents have had Tmobile for a while now and they qualified for the loyalty unlimited plan. They get unlimited everything for one flat fee each month. They love it.. it's like a penny less than what they were paying for 2000 mins a month and etc. But my mom has an old Samsung flip phone that is a piece, so I tried calling to get her a replacement or just a new phone. She's returned her phone once already. They said that they would send her the same phone (understandable) but she would have to pay shipping.. Then they were like oh wait! The other line is eligible for an upgrade we can use that! And I'm like there you go! Now that's customer service. HA! A 9.99 phone would end up being 27.00...what? I thought an upgrade was a gift for being there so either free or the set price (i.e 9.99).. They started charging an 18.00 upgrade fee..in may. What?! Do all carriers have an upgrade fee? I never really upgraded just got the phone I wanted online..

Non the less. T-Mobile is still probably the cheapest next to Sprint or Cricket. Verizon and AT&T are killers man.

I have a family plan and it sucks cause I have to add family allowance since my kids go nuts using up the mins and that is 2 bucks then they hit for each line then there is the insur on the phones which are a killer and the nick pick fees

But it could be worst if I were on with anyone else

I might be reading what you wrote wrong but you should only pay one fee for family allowances that covers everyone on the family account

Tmobile is not cheap. They are affordable.in my case, I have the 600minutes plan and unlimited data and text. All for 75 plus tax and a 10percent discount. Now, sprints lowest plan is the everything data for 450minutes and txt and data for 69.99 pretyy much the same thing if you ask me except for the fact the sprints network is quite limited unlike tmobile

Walgarin, I guess my POV and yours is different in this case haha. Since you are a parent paying the whole bill then I guess it is not as cheap as anyone would like it to be, however my 2 sisters and I each divide it up equally and I pay a nice 55 dollars a month for unlimited data and messages. Thing is we don't use a lot of minutes and we have 1000 shared. I guess that's why it seems great for me.

Try AT&T and you'll never complain again.
I pay about $95 a month for a family plan on t-mobile. It includes my blackberry data plan and 1000 minutes (shared) which we never use bcs most of my friends are on t-mobile.
I went to check out the new Iphone and the at&t data plan and this is what it came up to $129.99 plus all the fees and taxes for 700 minutes, the 1400 minutes was $149.99 + everything else. and if I am traveling in Canada, t-mobile data plan and roaming are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than at&t and their canadian partners Rogers (robbers) wireless.

I pay about $132.00 a month that is with out the data plan..

1000 mins for $69.00 to be used on 4 phones
    $2.00 for family allowance
$5.99 Insur for each phone( 4 phones)
$7.99 for the main phone line and the other 3 it's like $1.49
    $20.00 for texting
    $25.00 for the data plan

Total $152.42 and that is with out the taxes and fees

I am going to see if I can tweak around and see if I can lower this down because it's way more then what I pay for my lan line

i think t-mobile has good service the prices are cheap(est) considering at&t and verizon i have a 600 min plan the data plan and fave 5 for about 100-110

I agree it should be moved, but I don't have any complaints about my tmobile service:
89.99 1800 minutes on family faves plan
    19.99 data plan
    19.99 unlmited texting
9.99 for each additional line (2)

I did some serious research before re-upping with tmo to upgrade to my 8900 and I could not get prices anywhere close to this.

i have 2 lines - one blackberry 8900 ($19.99 old school rate for unlimited email and data and insurance) and one Samsung T919 Behold with data package - and unlimited domestic SMS and i think i pay right around 130.00 a month. same VZW plan would be like 175 per month. and sprint sucks so i wont even go there and ATT service is the worst - 3G!?!? yea right maybe 3G 50% of the time.

    ill stick with tmobile.
