My buddy at Tmo told me on Sat that this is going to be $500 without a contract.
That price sounds about right. I believe that is aprox. what the Curve was selling for outright.

Well just but the phone from Roger's. It is 599 for just the phone and it will work for T-Mo when you unlock it

A T-Mobile customer service man told me last week to watch the T-Mo site on January 19th 2009 for something I would find very interesting and this was after we were speaking of the new curve which is also now on the BB site

Right now the current Curve 8320 is $459 w/o Contract.

And the phones in that auction are from T-Mo Germany; sorry if that's already been mentioned I just didn't see it and figured I'd let you all know. I e-mailed the guy who listed the auction, QWERTZ layout. Sorry to crush dreams. I want it on T-Mo just as much as the rest of you!

I guess the 15th date was incorrect, since no t-mobile employees on here indicated that they received them for the 15th release. i stoped at a store today and asked about any new blackberry's getting released soon and he looked at me like i ordered a Big Mac or something

looks like we will not see anything till next year. that sucks, i was holding out doing a upgrade till the 15th to see if by chance it comes out. looks like im just getting a 8320 curve. i guess for $99 that isnt to bad for now.

ohh well. was hoping the rumor was true!

psziel, you might as well wait. we're all holding out for it (well, maybe not all). but while nothing has been confirmed, we're all fairly certain we'll be seeing something by mid-January. i'm way past due for an upgrade, and the 8320 does look tempting right now, but i'd seriously hold out for the 8900!

Why is it going to other carriers? Did they ask for it? Tmo can keep the g1 to just themselves...

The G1 itself will most likely not go to other carriers. But the Android operating system will most likely end up on other phone on other carriers.

    Out now on T-Mobile UK...free on a 35 18-month contract.

I've just got my hands on a Bold, so might be 3 months before I get my hands on a Javelin, unless someone else gets it for me.

Wait until tmo releases the 8900, you'll be much happier. The processor and screen alone will improve your browsing experience greatly.

If nothing else, wait until Jan, get the 8320, then within 2 weeks return it if the 8900 isn't out yet...but don't "settle" for the 8320 (I have one, it's amazing and I love it..but I can't wait for the 8900)
