I have an 8900 with the .114 OS, and am using DM v.4.6. I was just looking in the Help>About BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and noted in the tab "Device Software" that it lists my previous BB 8700c (it reads "v.4.5.0.99 (Platform 2.7.0.84) for the BlackBerry 8700 Smartphone"), and not my 8900.

DM has been installed on my PC since about January, and I got my 8900 in late April - I have been synching and backing up with no problems whatsoever, but would like to delete the reference to my 8700, and add a reference to my 8900....

Ideas? This may be keeping me from receiving my automatic OS update to
.231, which is being discussed fervently in another thread.

    Thanks!

You need to uninstall the 8700 OS softwear from your desktop and install the current OS once it is downloaded from the site, but .231 isn't even out yet.
