I'm not sure why, but this is the 3rd time (after resets) that this has happened. My red LED keeps flashing... I don't have any messages or anything.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Wasn't this a special 'feature' of a certain OS version? What version are you on?

has this been the case since you first got the phone, or did it just start recently?

I just got the phone yesterday, Tuesday that is.

Resets meaning battery pulls. It doesn't start up right away when I put the battery back in either.

& I am using the OS that came with the phone, .114 .

& no, there are no message icons.

Please try going to Options, Screen/Keyboard and checking thst the LED Coverage Indicator is set to Off. Normally this indicator is green but, you never know.

Next try resending your Service Books by going to your carriers BIS site, logging in and selecting Re-send Service Books

Try going to Options, Advanced Options, Host Routing Table, presse the Menu key and then select Register Now.

    What?

Why would I wipe it? I just got it yesterday... and I'm using the OS it came with... other people have the same phone, same production date, same apps and aren't having this problem (or haven't said anything). .....

try upgrading the OS to .133 or .152

....reason i said to wipe is because it could just be a software problem of which it most most likely is....if you upgrade to .133 you get AMAZING battery life anyways....worth the upgrade

Talk to the carrier and ask them to solve the problem. Tell them that you have 2 friends who have the same phone and their's is not doing the same thing and you have compared settings. Get them to replace the phone.

This happened to me also and it was twitterberry. When I check friends time line it refreshs if you close it before it has finished it will continue in background then flash the light to advise there are new tweets. All I had to do was open the friends timeline and this then stoped it. Worth a go

It happened with me and facebook. click on the icon - sometimes you have messages but the facebook icon doesn't indicate that you do.

Facebook doesn't even tell me when I have messages... The program (app) only allows me to go to the mobile site OR do things to other people (message, poke, write on wall, etc).
