I have no recollection of ever signing up for these text alerts, but they were nice- until I started receiving 10-15 copies of the same alert. I have tried every possible way of unsubscribing to no avail. Customer support says we cant find you to take you off the list. Any ideas? service books etc...

The SMS show from owner-nolist-BREAKINGNEWS@LISTSE FNC Alert. there is no "reply" option available.

Frustrating to get 15 messages about Obama addressing the the Muslims at Cairo University spread out over about 2 hours.

I'd search Fox News site to setup News Alerts... they probably will explain how to unsubscribe.

tried. they have you enter your email, and none of mine are registered. contacted their customer support, and they said the same thing...have to have the email to track you down. No way to look me up through PIN, phone number etc... apologized for the inconvenience. Didnt even know what I was talking about when I asked for guidence to a service book to delete.

I noticed recently that there is a fox news "Channel" that shows up like an app and the title of the app changes to the current headline. I haven't opened it because I'm not interested but maybe there is an option in there? (If you have this "app" also).

nope, but good thought. I dont have any FOX news app, nor have I registered for the text updates. It's like it was an automatic "service" from Cincinnati Bell. I went to Cinbell push apps, and its not in there either. CinBell has no idea, the tech support just googled unsubscribe alerts and tried to walk me through what I had just done. Makes no sense to me.

Maybe someone is sending this as SPAM mail and it is not coming from the actual Fox News server?

that would make sense. Know of a way to filter or block it? It's one of those tricky sms that hides the sender information without an option to reply to the message.

Breaking News:"Obama is a foreign born muslim socialist!"

Yeah, I can see how getting those 15-20 times each would get old.
