I'm new to BBs, so sorry if this is a dumb question. Why can't you plug a 3G modem stick into a Curve 8900 via a USB female A to male B adapter, and therefore use the BB as a 3G device?

    Thanks

The 8900 probably won't have the drivers, plus, would you want to run around with a 8900 woth a modem sticking out of it?

For the same reason that you can't connect a Bold to an 8900 together - the USB Aircards are their own cell phone, you can even send the thing text messages.

lazerus is correct... 3g is overrated... except for the fact that you can do simultaneous data and voice... thats the only good thing about 3G...
