What's the status of your connections? (i.e. EDGE vs. edge or UMA vs. uma) if it's something that's lowercase then that means for some reason you don't have data services on which i believe includes MMS's. How long has this been happening?

and a question on your 5.0.0.090 firmware.... Has there been a fix to get the facebook app, myspace app, get operamini, or boltbrowser to launch without and error. Also was curious how is the battery life on the new firmware??

It could be an data outage problem with T-mobile. also it was stated in another MMS thread from today that you should send it with the 1 + area code to make sure it goes. Good luck.

As far as i know, myspace, facebook, operamini and bolt are not fixed yet, but i don't use any of those apps anyway, so i don't know if i'm the best one to ask on that. As far a battery life goes, I came from .168 OS and i really haven't noticed a difference at all. It was for other reasons that i decided to be one of the few to stick with 5.0 for now.

If your on EDGE try switching to UMA only if you have that available to you to see if you can receive one that way, if you do, then it's definitely a t-mo thingy going on in your area.

My bad, i meant try sending one out over UMA (wifi) and see if that works. Also, i don't think you mentioned it but did you try resending your service books?

well if you haven't changed anything at all then i'm almost positive that it's no your phone but the t-mo network in your area, this happened to me once a few years back, tower got knocked out and i had no data services, just the basic GSM, but a few hours later it was back up and running, you might just have to wait this one out.

no problem, if it's still not working by tomorrow i'd give t-mo a call and report a data outage, that'll get their feet moving!

I just got off the phone with t-mo about this issue, as I can neither send or receive, and was told there s a nationwide MMS outage. BUT it did sound like she pulled that out of her, um ****.

Try sending yourself a mms, if it works then try sending your mms to the person. For some reason it worked for me. It could be the network, I didn't get mms or emails till later!
