    and this SD card was in the slot and ive never seen it look like this.. is it a phony card i would plug it in my self to see.. but i had a hard of a time taking it out and dont want to mess with it anymore ... (sausage fingers)

    i just got it from t mobile i was having problems with my 8220 and requested a new phone and they offered the 8900 it came straight from tmobile brand new also

    I would call Tmobile, tell them about the situation a request another phone because u don't know if the phone is even new. I did that ones when they send me a new phone but the box was open, even though everything else looked new I did not wanted to take the chance. So after the complain they send me a new device

    My new 8900 from T-Mo also had a memory card installed. I believe it was a 256 mb if I remember right. I just yanked it and stuck in my 8 gig.

    yeah im not suprised that it had a SD card in it... it just struck me odd because it didnt look like an actual SD card when my girl got her 8900 it had a 256 SD in it but this one just says SM ? no number no nothin

    Yep same thing mine said SM MicroSD. I guess they started putting in a small card to store stuff on out of the box.

    I loaded it up on my 8220 flip easier to take the sd card out it only has 256 nothin special answered my own question I guess lol

    Yeah its a micro media SD card, could be just
    one of those no name branded ones.

    Just be happy you got a free SD card.

    *Hopefully it was RIM who inserted that card and
    forgot to remove it after a test run on the phone
    and not the sales person who had a field day with it.
