just figured id warn anyone with an 8900 and the invisishield.

my coworker got his 8900 about 2 weeks ago, installed the invisishield about a week or so ago.

originally he got a little dust under the shield in various spots so he decided to remove the whole shield for now and decided on a protection solution later.

well in removal of the shield it peeled off 90% of the shiny chrome finish from around the bezel

tmo took one look at it and said its his problem $100 bucks for a replacement

so either never take this thing off your phone or be very careful when you do

Strange. I have installed and removed an IS from my device and I didn't experience anything like this. It came off with no problem and it was on my device for about a month.
