I have the .114 and wanted to upgrade to one where I can watch videos, there are so many versions out but I just want a basic instruction. I went to the tmobile site and downloaded a newer version and I followed the instructionsfrom this website and after it was supposedly downloading to my curve, after it said that it was done, it still was the same.

You can watch videos with .114.... go to m.youtube.com on your bb browser... worked just fine for me way back when.

And also, you DON'T download anything to your Curve... you download the OS upgrade to your PC, install it on your PC.

did you delete the vendor.xlm file in your hard drive> program files> common files> research in motion> apploader ? if not then thats your issue... and i think you are better off to use app loader instead of desktop manager to upgrade... you can get to apploader in hard drive> program files> common files> research in motion> apploader> look for the apploader.exe file...
