    Last night my battery was low. So i put it in the charge before i went to sleep and today morning my alram didnt went off annyways than i looked at the plug and the switch was off. so i am assuming i neva put on charge. Now its been on charge for an hour and it just wont turn on I connect it and the LED lights stays for a minute and then i get this empty jug with blue bolt sign saying its charging.
    What do i do?? HELP

    How long has it been plugged in? If the battery was completely dead, then the phone won't come on immediately after its plugged in. It would usually take a few minutes. Also its never a good idea to let your battery go completely dead, as this can damage it.

    Does the screen show that its charging? If it does and the battery is not holding the charge, then the battery might be damaged. You might want to track down a friend with the same bb and try their battery in your phone.

    Also if your phone is still under warranty, it shouldn't be a ptoblem to get a replacement battery. But there is definitely no way that it should take that long to charge.

    Yes it shows but in a funny image as i have never seen that image before with blue bolt in the middle. Screen is white btw.

    I think you should give your carrier a call any they may be able to confirm if its the battery that's dead, because I don't recognize the symbol that you are describing. If you still have warranty, they will almost definitely replace the battery for you..

    If its not still covered under warranty, find a friend with an 8900 and try their battery in your device to confirm that its a battery problem. If it is, then it shouldn't be too costly to buy a new battery.

    Well unless you have data on the phone that you need to backup... I would say you have nothing to lose at this point... So its worth a try... But I still think its a hardware issue, because the phone was working fine until the battery was fully drained, which we know can cause battery damage.

    Cos t mobile said its the phone fault:S as the phone shows the charging icon!

    So you think they will fix my problem in 10 minutes at the store? wont need a replacement phone?
