Hmm but do you have to ship the old one back?

Nope you don't have to ship any accessory back if you call in to get a replacement. That would include chargers and batteries. I'm going to call in myself to get another battery replacement soon because to get the chargers and batteries replaced, its only within a 3 month period.

I told tmobile that the battery has to be charged often and has poor life. They said keep the old one and they will ship a new one. Good luck

I had called several weeks ago and told them the same thing and they sent me new one also. I now have 2 batteries and bought the Seido dual charger so there is always one fully charged.

I have found that the second battery lasts much longer than the one that came with the phone so there may be some faulty batteries out there.

It seems Verizon and T-Mobile do this often (I'm unaware of other carriers, I've asked AT&T for a new battery for my iPhone, but they think I am crazy)

Good to see they're looking out. It'll be nice to have a spare battery:-)

I just called tmobile and asked for another battery giving some bs story about the poor battery life.... and they said they'll send out another one free and I can keep the old one....LOL
thanks T Mobile your the best...
btw the lady said...there is 3 month warranty on accessories like battery, charger and sim card....

I know, I know... I felt bad lying about it but hey I don't want to pay $60 for a new one and I don't trust all the Made in China batteries...

I wonder if I can do this on Rogers. Seriously, the battery life is a little crappy. The first day it dropped from 95% to 10% in a matter of 6 hours (without even making a single phone call).

Yep. I used to do this with Nokias in the past too.

I've done it with my 8900 on Orange in the UK recently as well.

    That's a no-no. They say it's only warranted for 15-hour standby..

That's the only thing i can think of. Maybe a ****load of people started calling and they had to monitor it closer. I've been very loyal to tmobile since 2003, never late on a payment, never asked for anything. I don't see how an extra battery is such a big deal.

I'm noticing a lot of tmo 'success'. Lol. Maybe us Rogers folk (and other providers, no doubt) are just out of luck..
