I've searched on here and through general web searches, but couldn't find anything, so sorry if this has been asked and answered...I'm also new to the BlackBerry thing (and oh so in love!).

I have it set to automatically download images in e-mails (in the Email Settings menu, Download Images Automatically is set to Yes), but they never do. I have to bring up the menu once the e-mail is open and select Get Images for them to appear, and for the e-mail to appear as it was intended.

Is there something that I am doing wrong?

I remember reading somewhere in the forum that you can't get images to download automatically for security reasons. Pretty annoying...

Not really sure why this options in even there... yes, it is a security issue... that is why when you click on the "Get Images" it gives you a message saying that this will expose your email address if you get the images, which can happen.

It's a really annoying security feature if you ask me.

Yeah, but super security is one of the many reasons I love BlackBerry
