Recently when I receive multiple SMS messages from one sender (They exceed the 160 character limit on their phone and it goes into a second message) the page number shows up prior to the message as 0001/0002, or 0002/0002, 0001/0003, ... etc. It didn't do this before when I would receive multiple messages and I'm not sure why it is now. Is there any way that I can change it so it won't do that anymore, it is slightly aggravating, haha.

I am having the same annoyance. Since you said "nevermind, I've fixed it", I'm hoping it is a phone setting that i've overlooked ... please help

I thought I had found a fix when I reset it, but then it began again. It's starting to get extremely aggravating. Anyone?

I just started experiencing this problem a few days ago as well. I also have Sprint service. Anyone figured out a solution?

I'm not on Sprint and I don't see this behavior, but friends on Sprint are. Is this a Sprint issue specifically and has anybody gotten any information from Sprint about it?

Yeah there is a strong correlation with this texting behavior with Sprint. Haven't heard anything from Sprint yet. Do you know if your friends just started having this problem recently?

the 0001/0002 texts usually contain around 130 characters while the texts with 0002/0002 preceding them have only like 20 characters.

I called Sprint last night and they are clueless, which means this will take a long time to resolve. I suggest everyone call and complain to Sprint as I did, so they will take it seriously!!
