    I think I may have a double whammy here. While updating my Curve 8530 using the desktop manager, my whole computer shut down before update was complete. When I brought everything back up, the App Error 205 Reset screen appeared. I found a link to solve this problem hopefully. But now the Application Loader Wizard won't advance to the next screen, it just stays at the initial screen.

    I tried plugging the device in to see if that would advance it, but nothing has worked thus far. What can I do without screwing this up further????

    I think that your BlackBerry is "nuked". Try watching the video made by CrackBerry, about fixing a nuked or bricked BlackBerry device.
