i have a 8530 from sprint for about a year now... im a long time blackberry user, my battery would drain so fast with this phone, it would die twice a day with average usage. i figured id go get a new battery, and when i did i charged it properly to ensure best performance , and after two months, its drain fast again.... im thinking its the phone now.... any suggestions/

Try to close apps you aren't using.
For example, when you click alt+Back button, there should be only 5 apps.

Home Screen, Phone, BBM, Browser, and Messages.

The 8530 has had many problems with the battery.
Take it into Sprint, let them know your situation and see what they say.
My 8530 overheated, and the battery was horrid, I ended up getting 2 9650's but I'm with Verizon. So.
