Theme Question

So i've had my 8530 for about 2-3 weeks now, and i think its great. i'm curious tho, i'm running the most recent update (5.0.0.395) and i'm wondering why the themes dont have that nice fade in/fade out transition effect?
i installed the 5.0 on my friends tour and her theme's transition in and out smoothly, looks great. i thought this was somehting that came with os 5. is that a theme specific action perk? tour/better phone specific? if its theme specific, where can i get better themes from?

It's theme specific and setup in the theme, try one of these (they have transition effects):

Nah that one was just a simple mod on the OEM theme to add the transitions and today items.
