Here is my beginner theme builder shot at a fairly basic theme with the new OS 6.1 Icons.


This theme has been updated .. latest version available here http://forums.crackberry.com/f154/fr...pdated-601347/



Built for the 85xx with OS 5, simple theme structure gave it a weather slot in icon position #7 .. and took a shot at clickable clock and date .. to clock and calendar respectively.

Thanks .. I did one other real basic theme but this was my first trying new things like the clickable areas. I was thinking about hidden dock too, maybe a smaller banner. Will see if i can figure that stuff out

Which link did you use to download the icons? I already tried a couple of different ones and both are missing half the icons.

Any input here would be helpful .. I am looking into the hidden dock option for the theme and have a question .. Should the weather slot hide with the dock? I personally like it always visible but wondered what others thought.

I'm with you and prefer the weather dock separate, upper left or right hand corner. Visible is a must for me.

Yeah that is what i thought. Still have a bunch to figure out with it but hopefully I will get it together

No don't make the weather icon hide with the dock! Just the dock itself! Always have the weather visible!

Awesome! I'm actually taking a break from theme building, so I'm not going to be able to make my own...but if you can't make it, its's not a big deal, the main thing for me is NOT to have a weather slot, as i never use them and i hate the living crap out of them
